Whether it’s a heavy clean and jerk, their first ring muscle up, or a perfect air squat, Anthony Musemici loves seeing the look on someone’s face when they do what they thought they couldn’t do. In almost two decades in this industry, he’s lead hundreds of groups and instructed thousands of one-on-one sessions for a wide variety of clients. He’s uniquely qualified as a leader for CrossFit Bridge and Tunnel, having opened multiple gyms and taught fitness instructors in various settings. In 2005 he achieved the position of Master Instructor, a title he shares will only 150 Spinning Instructors around the world. Since then he has earned Master Instructor status for Kettlebell Concepts and Cross Core, a suspension training program. He has lead conferences teaching other fitness professionals and trainers, and his experience includes basically the whole alphabet and spans the globe with, among others: WSSC in Miami, DSAC in Washington, DC; the ECA in New York, NY; MindBody Pro in Los Angeles; and Spinning Experience in the Netherlands.
This background has prepared him to implement programming he knows inside and out. He believes CrossFit is the best vehicle for spreading the message of fitness by educating clients on health, safety, and progress.
Anthony’s proudest athletic endeavor is climbing Mt. Ventoux, part of the Tour de France course, a six-mile bicycle climb at one mile above sea level. Working out in the gym alongside his athletes, his favorite benchmark WOD is “Grace,” and the overhead squat is his favorite lift because of its demand for flexibility, coordination, strength, and perseverance. He enjoys working with all levels of athletes, and especially enjoys helping everyday exercisers achieve their aspirations at the competitive level.

Michele Gretano began her CrossFit journey in 2008 in La Jolla, CA, quickly becoming an “unofficial coach” as others joined her gym and asked for her feedback. She earned her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate in 2011 and continued helping her fellow athletes. After moving from San Diego to New York for her corporate career in hotel finance, she soon realized her quality of life was unacceptable. She quit her job and followed her love of CrossFit to help others find fitness and health at CrossFit Bridge and Tunnel. Michele’s favorite people to coach are “regular” people who want to learn to move better and be faster and stronger. If you’re willing to be surprised with your own accomplishments, Michele will help you reach new levels of fitness.
Her favorite lift is the power clean, and she’s crazy enough that “Fran” is her favorite benchmark WOD. She is also passionate about running and gymnastics, achieving a goal that was years in the making when she broke 2:15 on a half marathon in 2014. But it all comes back to CrossFit for Michele. She loves the quantifiable results of the CrossFit method and seeing people of all fitness levels continue to surpass their own goals and expectations.

Danny began his CrossFit journey in 2013. His initial motivation stemmed from a continuous struggle with his own weight. However, soon after joining CrossFit he became enthralled by the sense of community and it propelled him into a constant pursuit to improve himself. His determination and dedication to becoming fit made Danny realize that he wanted others to experience this as well. Thusly, a new passion emerged- coaching; so in 2016, he pursued his CrossFit Level 1 Certification and began coaching shortly after. His favorite lift is the back squat and his favorite benchmark WOD is Grace.

Zack started his CrossFit adventure in March 2016. After doing the monotonous routine of back/bi’s and chest/tri’s often skipping leg day, he found himself bored and lacking motivation. It only took one class and the vision was clear. After seeing how CrossFit had affected his life and my mental toughness, he wanted to help others benefit the same way. The jump was a natural progression being a high school math teacher in the NYC DOE; In November 2016 he obtained his CrossFit Level 1 Certification. His favorite lift is the clean and his favorite benchmark WOD is Helen.
